In order to promote faster healing, we utilize the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. This technique is shown to increase both tissue and bone growth, which leads to quicker wound healing, by injecting blood plasma (taken from the patient) that has been enriched with platelets (cells that help stop bleeding) into the body. These platelet-rich plasma cells contain a mixture of growth factors that help clot and heal wounds in a more natural way. When used in dental care, this technique could lead to the long-term success rate of a patient who receives a dental implant.
