Micro-Technology

Experience high power loupes with bright head lights to enhance the precision of your care. Dentistry is micro-surgery. Using a pair of loupes similar to the one an ophthalmologist uses, our team creates dental restorations with an extraordinarily precise fit and finish. You simply can't fulfill that level of care with the naked eye.

Fiber Optic Lighting

In addition to allowing precise, close-up work, the advanced TLC fiber optic lights direct two beams of light brightly focused on your teeth, minimizing glare for you. No more bright lights in your eyes. During your dental treatment, all you see are cable TVs comfortably positioned for you while playing your favorite television shows or DVD (movies). Electric Hand Drills

Many dentists use air-driven "hand-pieces" ("drills"). While acceptable for some procedures, these "whiney sounding" air-powered hand pieces all have a degree of non-concentricity – meaning they do not rotate perfectly smoothly. At Soft Dental, enjoy the most precise aspects of restorative procedures because of our investment in high and slow speed electric hand-pieces. With much less vibration and quieter treatment, this advanced technology results in extraordinarily precise interfaces between your tooth and your new crown, veneer, or filling. Digital Radiographs (X-Rays)

Trust that our team only takes radiographs (x-rays) that are absolutely necessary for your care. Dental radiographs are invaluable aids in diagnosing, treating, and maintaining dental health. Radiographs allow us to see everything we cannot see with our own eyes and enable us to detect cavities in between your teeth. This technology helps determine your bone level and analyze the health of your bone. Your teeth's roots and nerves are examined and lesions, such as cysts or tumors, are diagnosed easier. When trauma occurs, radiographs help assess the damage providing quicker treatment for your well-being.

For your safety, Soft Dental invests in digital imaging technologies. Your exposure time with digital radiographs is about 50 percent less when compared to traditional radiographs. Unlike traditional, film-based radiographs, digital radiographs allow you to see more detail. You see exactly what your dentist sees. They can be archived in the Soft Dental computerized system for future reference. These records can easily transfer to specialists or insurance companies if needed. Because digital radiographs are efficient, you enjoy a more comfortable visit.

Laser Dentistry

For soft tissue (surgical) procedures, laser dentistry eliminates the need for suturing, giving you a much quicker, more comfortable healing time.

Intraoral Cameras and Extraoral cameras

See exactly what your dentist sees! Now you can have a better understanding of what is going on inside your mouth, so that you can comprehend the status of your oral health and treatment recommendations. An intraoral camera is a very small camera that allows your team to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums. You can even watch as your procedure is performed on your teeth. Your dental team uses this technology to ensure you have the best education about your oral health and to ease any feelings of anxiety that you may feel while visiting the dentist. An extraoral camera helps you see the changes before and after treatments. It also helps our team give you a more precise diagnosis. This also means faster diagnosis, so you can get back to your busy life!

For your convenience, intra oral cameras also enable our practice to save your images in our office computer to provide a permanent record of your treatment. These images can be printed for you, other specialists, your lab or insurance companies.
